The rooms

Four rooms,
four namesakes

Discover a delightful retreat amidst the serene hills of Darjeeling with our range of thoughtfully curated rooms — a cozy hideaway for two, or spacious accommodation for the whole family.

The Sylvia Coleridge room, pine-panelled with a skylight and sliding doors to the balcony
The Erick Avari room: a wide bed with a dark wooden headboard, sliding glass doors onto the balcony, and a full-length mirror reflecting a carved teak door

Erick Avari

The largest of the four. A wall of glass slides open onto the balcony, and a full-length mirror opposite catches the valley light and carries it back across the room. Cane stools, a carved teak door, a ceiling of pale pine.

Balcony Valley facing Full-length mirror Flat-screen TV

The Vivien Leigh room: a corner room with twin wall sconces above the bed and wide sliding doors opening onto a balcony above the misted valley

Vivien Leigh

A corner room with the widest balcony doors in the house. Twin brass sconces above the bed, cane stools by the mirror, and on clear mornings the mist lifting off the valley while you are still under the covers.

Sylvia Coleridge

Pine-panelled to the eaves, with a skylight cut into the pitched roof — the one room that wakes with the mountain. Open shelving along one wall, red chairs on the balcony, and a headboard built the full width of the bed.

The Anna Kashfi room: late afternoon light pouring through sliding doors onto the bed, with two chairs and a table on the balcony outside

Anna Kashfi

West facing, and it shows. Late light comes through the sliding doors and turns the room amber for the last hour of the day. Two chairs and a small table on the balcony, positioned for exactly that.
